Step1: In the SBI ATM, insert the debit card

Step 2: Click on the ‘PIN generation’ option

Step 3: In this stage, you need to enter your 11-digit account number

Step 4: Enter the number with the keypad and click on ‘confirm’

Step 5: Next, you will be asked to enter your registered mobile number and after that click on ‘confirm’

Step 6: In the next stage, on the screen a message as ‘your PIN will be delivered to your registered number’ will be flashed

Step 7: After you have pressed on confirm, you will see a message ‘your PIN generation has been successful and you will receive the same on your mobile number

Step 8: This is the last stage where you will receive an OTP on your phone

Activating through SBI Debit Card Through SMS

To activate an SBI debit card by SMS, send a message as ‘PIN WXYZ ABCD’, to 56767. Here WXYZ represents the first four digits of the debit card number. ABCD represents the last four digits of the linked bank account number. After you have sent the SMS, you will receive an OTP that is valid for the whole 2 days and with this, you can easily generate a debit card PIN by visiting nearby SBI ATMs.

Activating through calling by SBI Debit Card Activation Number

Following are the steps you need to follow to activate your debit card by calling the SBI debit card activation number:

Step1: Call the customer care number of SBI which is 1800 11 22 11/1800 425 38000 or 08026599990

Step 2: Follow the given instructions and select the ‘ATM and Prepaid card services’ option

Step 3: Tap on ‘1’ to generate the SBI card PIN

Step 4: Enter the asked debit card number and confirm the same

Step 5: Next, enter the linked bank account number and press confirm

Step 6: You will receive all the details in the SMS along with a one-time password with a validity of 2 days

Step 7: Finally, you need to visit the nearest SBI ATMs to create your debit card PIN.

Activating through Online Net Banking

If you want to activate online, stick to the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the website www.onlinesbi.com from your phone or else from your computer

Step 2: After you have logged in, tap on ‘e-services’

Step 3: In this step, click on ‘ATM card services’ and then follow up with ‘ATM pin generation”

Step 4: This is the authentication process where you need to use your profile password and OTP that you will receive on your registered mobile number

Step 5: In the following step, you need to enter your SBI account number as well as the credit card number

Step 6: Now, all you need to do is enter the first two digits of your PIN that you wish to keep and then click on the ‘submit button

Step 7: A screen will appear next with the primary two digits that you have voluntarily created along with the following two digits that were sent to your mobile number.
